Meet our Ambassador!
Ian Crowley is a student at the Penny Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan. He is working towards a major in Art and Design with an emphasis on sustainable design and has declared a minor in entrepreneurship through Innovate Blue. He hopes to channel his passion and use his skills to engage communities in addressing social and environmental issues around the world.
His recent travels to Gabon and Ethiopia, as well as his involvement in sustainability and entrepreneurship, sparked his interest in Textbooks for Change.
He is also in the men’s club ultimate frisbee team at the University of Michigan, will be living at the University of Michigan Biological Station in May where he will be working on a green building project. Ian also expects to conduct research in Gabon this summer regarding sustainable design! Ian hopes that these initiatives, as well as his work with Textbooks for Change, will help direct him toward a career path in sustainability and entrepreneurship!
